Your provider gathers more information from you and checks your vital signs. Next, you undergo an examination. Your provider pays close attention to your urgent medical matter. If necessary, your Adult Health & Wellness Center provider orders additional tests, such as a blood or urine test or an X-ray.

Once your exam is complete, a treatment plan is developed to help reduce your discomfort. Treatment varies depending on your need and may include medication, bandages, stitches, or a referral to a specialist for further testing or treatment.

What happens after urgent care?
